Galaxy Resin Bowl With Quote

This one-off piece of resin art is one that I’m really proud of and yet it actually very nearly went in the bin. All I could see were the bubbles in the resin, the rough edges around the bowl, all the imperfections. My husband couldn’t see any bubbles so I took a white pen and highlighted every single one. Then I stepped back and looked at the bowl and realised I had unintentionally created something beautiful! By highlighting each bubble, each flaw, I had transformed the inside surface of the bowl into what looked like a galaxy full of stars. With this realisation came the words, “Imperfections can be precious if you just let them shine through.”

The bowl is coated in gold paint on the outside and measures approximately 22cm x 24cm across and 12cm high. This item is for decorative purposes only and should not be used to hold anything intended for consumption.
