I have lost count of the number of times people have said to me, “I don’t know how you do it” or “I wish I could write better”. Small business owners who tell me that they feel sick or have heart palpitations just thinking about having to write content for their websites, brochures, even social media posts. So, today I decided to do something about this.

I have set up a Facebook group called “Believe; Inspire; Captivate” aimed at small business owners who have no confidence in their writing or who simply feel completely uninspired at the moment. The group will be full of tips and advice on how to write stress-free content. I will continually update the group with videos and links with information I think might help. I also plan to invite guest speakers into the group to talk on various different topics.

But I don’t want the group to just be me and a few guest speakers preaching to everyone. My hope is that we will build a community, a support network, whereby we all help each other. After all, I firmly believe that it takes a family to grow a business and I’m not just talking about family through blood or marriage (although I couldn’t have achieved any of what I have without their support). So, what do I mean?
It’s all those people who take the time to bounce ideas around with us. It’s those who lift our spirits and renew our confidence when we want to give up. It’s those who have no loyalty towards us whatsoever yet cheer us on at the side of the road anyway. This is what I want for my group. This is what I want for us all!
